An Extraordinary Miracle

Assalamu'alaykum warahmatullah ^^

its been a few days since i updated my still-full-of-deficiencies blog
went thru a hectic week back there, orhan demam n its heartbreaking to see him cry alll thru e nite w/out being able to do anything to make him feel better~
we did actually bg orhan makan ubat n letak kain basah atas dahi utk control temp n both of us even tak tdo e whole nite sbb takut orhan pnye temp rise..
tp still he wud occassionally wake up n cry..
his cry was almost like he's telling us smthing we cudn't understand.. n its really really sedih..
im pretty sure yg all mothers wud experience e same..
tp i believe even how experienced a mother is, seeing her little sunshine suffers would still, each n evrytime, break their hearts, kan kan?
tapi sekarang alhamdulillah dah ok~! v(^^)v
our little warlord is back in action! hehe..

so to share smthing dat we learn (we did know abt dis -chey poyo jek, tau la skit2- but human are inclined to forget, due to our imperfectness, which is y the word insaan itself taken from e root word nasiya, which means to forget)

so dat incident works as smwhat a reminder 4 us to ponder upon the concept of sickness n health in Islam^^

upon him being all healthy n bubbly again, we realised dat health is a very amazing state, an extraordinary miracle!

it reminds us dat we personally have nothing at all, n all these while there is absolutely SOMEONE who is guarding and taking care of us every single moment we exist and live!

Health is a blessing, sickness is an examination. It is necessary to praise Allah 4 the blessings, and to show endurance during examinations..

so i believe dat dis is part of the tests dat He had predestined 4 us, to remind us, n to tell us dat maybe, juz maybe dat we're being too lagha nowadays?

Whatever misfortune happens to you, is because on the things your hands have wrought, and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness.
Surah 42 Verse 30

((O The Most Merciful please guide us to the right path, the path of the mu'mineen, and do protect us from being harmed by our own foolishness and ignorance.~))

tapi being tested also means to be loved n guided by Him! teringat lagu inteam duet nazrey raihan~

Ujian adalah tarbiah dari Allah,
apakah kita akan sama ataupun sebaliknya,
kesenangan yg datang selepas kesusahan,
semuanya adalah nikmat dari Tuhan..

so, how to sum things up? surely no more than Alhamdulillah~ ^o^

oh ya b4 dat nk share some of the many do'aas dat the Prophet used to read when facing difficult situation~

The Prophet used to say, "Allahumma inni a`udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani wal-`ajzi wal-kasali wal-bukhli wal-jubni wad ala`il-daini wa ghalabatil-rijal" (O Allah! I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from helplessness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from being heavily in debt, and from being overcome by men) (Al-Bukhari).

The Prophet used to invoke Allah at times of difficulty, saying, "La ilaha illal-lahu al-`azim, al-halim, la ilaha illal-lahu rabbu-s-samawati wal-ard wa rabbu-l-`arsh il-`azim" (There is no god but Allah, the Great, the Tolerant; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the magnificent throne; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the heaven and the earth, Lord of the edifying throne) (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Whenever the Prophet faced a difficulty, he would say, "Ya hayyu ya qayyumu bi rahmatika astaghithu" (O the Ever-Living One, the Self-Subsisting Source of all beings, I invoke Your help) (At-Tirmidhi).

The Prophet said, "The supplication of a person in difficulty is to say: Allahumma rahmatak arju fala takilni ila nafsi tarfata `aynin, wa aslih li sha'ni kullahu" (O Allah! I seek Your mercy, so don't abandon me to my own devices even for an instant; straighten out all my tangled affairs for me) (Abu Dawud).

The Prophet said to Asma´ bint `Umays, "Shall I teach you some words to say at times of difficulty? [Say:] Allahu rabbi la ushriku bihi shay'an" (Allah is my Lord with Whom I associate nothing) (Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah).
